O mês de Outubro foi designado Mês Internacional das Bibliotecas Escolares pela IASL (International Association of School Librarians). No International School Library Month é tempo de evidenciar a associação das bibliotecas escolares ao sucesso dos alunos e também de desenvolver acções de promoção das suas actividades e das competências que podem acontecer em contexto de Biblioteca.
A BE da ESCS assinala O Dia Internacional da Biblioteca Escolar (International School Library Day), igualmente designado pela IASL, e que acontece sempre na quarta segunda-feira de Outubro (este ano no dia 26), com a publicação da primeira Newsletter. Para a receberes (com muito melhor qualidade gráfica do que aquela que se consegue obter através do blogue), podes inscrever-te enviando um email para o endereço electrónico: csbiblioteca@gmail.com. A partir de amanhã é também possível a inscrição na mailing list para a newsletter, que pode ser solicitada no atendimento.
